YGHC Hytap Connector

The Irreversible compression ground tap by FCI Burndy is a basic tool needed for a sound connection. The “figure C" shape allows for a solid connection in all cable
combinations ranging from #6 solid through 500 kcmil. The distinct "C"- shaped opening sanctions the placement of two continuous parallel cables into the conductor groove. The Hytap Connector is UL 467 listed and meets all IEEE 837 requirements. Like the YGHP-C Connectors, it too is acceptable for direct burial in earth or concrete. These connectors are Pre-filled with PENETROX™ compound and strip sealed, ready to work upon arrival.
