YGHP-C Hytap Connector

This FCI Burndy product serves the Electrical Contractor for dual functions. As an irreversible compression ground tap, it can be used as a tap connector or as a tap
splice connector. Its “figure 6” shape makes for easy handling and installation. Four (4) die sets and eight (8) connectors can hold a conductor range from #8 solid, up to, 500 kcmil plus 1/2_, 5/8_, and 3/4_ copper bonded ground rods. Tolerable for direct burial into earth and concrete applications, the YGHP-C Hytap Connectors are essential for getting the job done. Pre-filled with PENETROX™ compound and strip sealed, this item meets all IEEE 837 Requirements, and is UL 467 listed for lightening protection.
